Records include two minute books of the St. Joseph's Academy Alumnae Association of Richmond, Va., an association formed in 1916 to promote Catholicism; to support the academy through raising money for scholarships, school buildings and equipment, and graduation and other social events; and to do local and international mission work. Included are a few enclosures from the minute books and several certificates and a diploma. Catherine Lee (Asher) Anderson was awarded a certificate and a diploma from St. Joseph's Academy in 1928, and William Asher of Company A of the 167th Infantry of the U.S. Army was awarded a certificate for serving in World War I and being wounded in action.
